This Page Updated: 03-18-08

This list is now complete, showing all of the 2006/2007 possible hets and stargazers available from CCCorns. The Star Gazers (homozygous for the gene) are spoken for. The remainder are all from crosses of stargazing het parents, so they are all 67% possible het for stargazing. It is questionable whether or not we'll produce any gazers/possible hets in 2008, this will depend on the results of test crosses. We do have plans to breed a gazer to a non-het and to a het to finish proving the inheritance, which will result in known hets in the year(s) to come, but there will not be any known hets this season.

Written below each photo is a comment on their personality and feeding style for your information before deciding.

Star Gazers

The below animals are all homozygous for the star gazing neurologic defect. They are all 2007 hatch and are out of Mattie x Sir. They (as well as their normal siblings) are just starting to go into their more spazzy/jumpy yearling phase, especially since I don't handle them a great deal. None appear to be overly aggressive/nippy, just more or less flighty right now.

Star Gazer Possible Hets

The below animals are all 67% possible heterozygous for the star gazing neurologic defect (all out of parents that have produced star gazers). The 2007 hatched ones are out of Mattie x Sir. They (as well as their normal siblings) are just starting to go into their more spazzy/jumpy yearling phase, especially since I don't handle them a great deal. None appear to be overly aggressive/nippy, just more or less flighty right now. The two larger boys are 2006 possible het star gazers that I got from Kathy and are breeding size already. They have not been brumated.

ACR #4489 - CCC'S LEELA (Chuck's) Sunkissed female 67% possible het stargazing from a second clutch last year from Mattie x Sir. She currently weighs 45 grams.

ACR #4763 - CCC'S BENDER (Chuck's) Sunkissed male 67% possible het stargazing from the first clutch last year from Mattie x Sir. He currently weighs 84 grams.

Hubble is a 2006 hatch from Kathy out of a male het sunkissed and stargazing and a female het star gazing, making him 67% possible het for star gazing and 50% possible het sunkissed. He's a very nice snake, ravenous feeder, and a fast grower. He is breeding sized, but is unbrumated. I would expect he could breed this spring, but haven't tried him on anyone.
